Featuring Artist: Aedan Kehoe Aedan is a passionate young composer and multi-instrumentalist.
Aedan is an incoming Purcell School student who plays piano, violin, harp, glockenspiel, tin whistle, cununo, steel pans, cajon, and more, performing everywhere from the Royal Academy of Music to Wembley’s Grand Hall.

Declan is an award-winning young concertina player, bringing the spirit of traditional Irish music to life through his expressive and powerful performances.

A gifted musician, Declan has earned first place at the All Britain Fleadh Cheoil in 2024, marking him an exciting young talent in traditional Irish music today.

Jade is a dynamic presence in sound and music for games, and recipient of the Game Dev Hero Award (Sound) in 2020. Her influence extends beyond composition — she’s also a respected judge for top-tier awards including BAFTA, the Ivor Novello Awards, and the D.I.C.E. Awards.
We’re proud to feature Jade as part of ANAM CARA REMIX (SHEBEEN I / PIRATE STATION) — a multi-sensory exhibition by JAYKOE exploring memory, migration, and remix culture through sound, image, and space.

Spotlight: Al Carr & the ANAM CARA Ensemble The five artists who performed at ANAM CARA REMIX (SHEBEEN I / PIRATE STATION) had never played together before — most hadn’t even met. But what unfolded was a powerful, improvised collaboration built on trust, rhythm, and instinct.

At the heart of it all was Al Carr, an extraordinary djembe player from Chicago — a true inspiration and the binding force of the group. His intuitive direction and deep musicality became the unspoken language that united the ensemble and carried the energy of the performance.

We’re honoured to have witnessed this one-time-only musical conversation unfold as part of JAYKOE’s immersive exhibition exploring diaspora, memory, and sonic resistance.
